Looking for a little privacy but do not want to hang curtains? Well window film or foil can be a fantastic alternative because the price is much cheaper, the foils can be easily mounted and removed and you can update the foils as your interior changes with little fuss. I have searched around and found some really pretty choices available across Europe.
If none of these choices suit you or your needs then you might want to check your local telephone directory for a foil service. Another way to locate a foil service and someone to mount the foils is to stop in a shop that have foils mounted in a window (such as “SALE”, etc…) and inquire who mounted them. Often mounting services will arrange the entire service for you from helping you with your designs, having them cut and finally mounting them at your location.
Cocobohème has a lovely collection of 4 patterns for glass. Unlike most foils, where there is an adhesive backing that sticks to the surface, the Cocoboheme foils work on an electrostatic principle and can be easily mounted and removed with just a little water.

Pedlars Shop Store Opening!
Pedlars has announced today it’s grand opening of it’s first shop. The store has opened in Notting Hill at 128 Talbot Road, W11 1JA London. If I lived in London I would be heading there today! But for those of us who do not, we can always peruse their online collection which is always full of great finds from around the world.

The Flake or Flower elements can be used to make different surfaces for curtains and partitions or for placemats and other table decorations. Three-dimensional forms are also possible. The elements are joined by slipping the point of one element through the hole of another element.
The surface can be made for one-sided or two-sided use. By changing the direction from which you slip the point, you can leave the points on the back side. You can create a whole or a net like, loose surface. The surfaces can be undone and redone.
