Thinner by Tobias Berneth
Thinner, designed by German born Tobias Berneth for the Swedish firm Karl Andersson & Sons, is a table with slender, elegant dimensions. Thinner comes in four heights of 400, 480, 730 and 900 mm, and in 12 different sizes of table. The tabletop is 6 mm thick and is made in veneers of oak, birch, walnut and white laminate, as well as in black-stained oak. Lounge : Couch by Sentou
The French company and designer showcase Sentou carries this gorgeous couch within their collection. The Banquette Banco was designed in 2007 for Sentou and is made of a wengé tinted hardwood frame with a metal spring polyurethane foam cushion seat. The couch comes in either a 2-seater or 3-seater version. Material choice between 100% wool fabric (black, red, orange, maroon, khaki) or imitation leather (money, gold, titanium).

Turkish Reflection : Gaio & Gino Pepper and Salt Mills
Ah, something different than the standard pepper mill. Karim Rashid’s Salt and Pepper mills for the Turkish design brand Gaio & Gino.
The metal tops are inspired by the Ottoman taps and the base parts from the alems, the crescent that is usually placed at the peak of a mosque dome. The family consists of Ottoman (father), Ottowoman (mother) and Ottokid (child). These pepper and salt mills are made in Italy.
The bodies are handmade (ivory white or light pink) lacquered European beech wood. Top metal shapes are laser cut, high quality solid brass. Top parts are sterling silver and 24 carat gold plated and have undergone a protective anti-oxidation treatment to preserve shine. The grinder mechanisms for peppermills are stainless steel. The grinder mechanisms for salt mills are ceramic. Contrary to most pepper grinders, the grinders do not crush but actually cut peppercorns to achieve maximum flavor.

Geometric Danish Textile : Lisbet Friis
The Danish Designer Lisbet Friis designs and produces a series of interior textiles that are so bold and dramatic that you cannot keep your eyes off of them. She develops the patterns and colors at her own workshop after which the textiles are hand-printed in limited runs at Ljungbergs of Sweden, or Kurage in Denmark. All her designs are printed on a high quality Belgian linen.

These hand-crafted 100% Alpaca wool pillows are from Moluche, who work closely with South American artisans. The Peruvian and Chilaen artisans utilize traditonal techniques to hand spin the Alpaca wool yarn and natural vegetable dyes to color them. Moluche also offers throws, scarves, shawls and mini-scarves in their assortment, all from this beautiful material.
Alpaca fleece is a light-weight, lustrous, soft and silky natural fiber. While similar to sheep’s wool in that it is a natural fiber, it is warmer, not prickly, and bears no lanolin which makes it hypoallergenic. It is considered one of the world’s most luxurious fibers. With all that going for it then these are a wonderful addition to your home.

Curve and Twist : Zanotta Butterfly Table
I have always been a big fan of the Isamu Noguchi Coffee Table - a design classic and when I saw the Butterfly Coffee Table designed by the British designer Alexander Taylor for Zanotta in 2006, I couldn’t help but think of Noguchi.
The table base frame is intricately designed and constructed of bent plywood and is veneered in a choice of natural, wengé-stained, black painted or white painted oak. The base frame can be flipped over so that the wider part or the narrower part can support the tempered plate glass top. Now that is versatile.

Barber & Osgerby Zero-In Low Table for Established & Sons designed in 2005. The table is made of a seamless ribbon of molded polyester with a low iron, super clear glass table top which gives the appearance that objects resting on it are floating in the air.
The British design team Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby studied architecture together at the Royal College of Art in London and BarberOsgerby was established in 1996. They have been named Designers of the Year at the annual ELLE Decoration British Design Awards 2007.

Revive a Room : BoConcept
Want to revive your space but have to do it on a buget then BoConcept is an excellent choice. BoConcept is the brand name of Denmark’s most global retail furniture chain with more than 200 BoConcept Brand Stores and 150 Studios in 47 countries. I find the prices are definitely in line with their quality.
To freshen up a space it really does not take much… a few new pillows, vases, maybe an ottoman or blanket and lamp. I gathered together some color combination ideas that could possibly do the trick.
