Albatross Organic Cotton Towels and Bed Linens
I am a freak so to speak when it comes to linens - towels, sheets, pillow covers. They have to be soft, great quality and as reasonably affordable as possible. I know that is a lot to ask but today I stumbled upon the company Albatross, run by Ben & Mandy Grigg in the UK, and I fell in love with their organic 100% cotton towels and linens. They fit all the requirements that I have plus they are organic and eco-friendly.
As the Albatross site states: “Our respected Peruvian manufacturer of ecological textiles obtains SKAL Certified organic cotton from small farmers on fairly traded principles and the finishing is carried out on inspected sites.” All product designs are exclusive to Albatross. The Danish Designer Lisbet Friis designs and produces a series of interior textiles that are so bold and dramatic that you cannot keep your eyes off of them. She develops the patterns and colors at her own workshop after which the textiles are hand-printed in limited runs at Ljungbergs of Sweden, or Kurage in Denmark. Alpaca fleece is a light-weight, lustrous, soft and silky natural fiber. Want to revive your space but have to do it on a buget then BoConcept is an excellent choice. BoConcept is the brand name of Denmark’s most global retail furniture chain with more than 200 BoConcept Brand Stores and 150 Studios in 47 countries. I find the prices are definitely in line with their quality.
